Day 01 :

Arrival at Kathmandu

Kathmandu to Chisapani(2,194m/7241ft), Distance:12-14km, Duration:5-6hr

Start your journey early from Kathmandu. Drive to Sundarijal (1 hour), the starting point of the trek. From Sundarijal, the trail enters the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. You’ll pass through lush forests, waterfalls, and small villages. The trail gradually ascends to Chisapani, a small village with stunning views of the Langtang range, Ganesh Himal, and even Mount Everest on a clear day. Overnight stay in a teahouse or lodge.

Day 03 :

Chisapani to Nagarkot(2,175m/7178ft), Distance:15-18km, Duration:6-7hr

After breakfast, begin your trek to Nagarkot. The trail passes through dense forests, terraced fields, and traditional Nepali villages. You’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas throughout the day. Nagarkot is famous for its sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and more. Spend the night in Nagarkot and enjoy the serene environment.

Day 04 :

Nagarkot to Kathmandu, Distance:32km, Duration:1-2hr drive

Wake up early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot’s viewpoint. After breakfast, you can either trek down to Changunarayan Temple (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) or take a direct drive back to Kathmandu. The drive takes about 1.5 hours.
